In keeping with our traditional style of Highland Games, we are privileged to have a rota of local Clan Chieftains, lairds and landowners to preside over our Games each year.<\/p>\n
Sir Malcolm MacGregor of MacGregor, MacLaren of MacLaren, Sandy Stewart of Ardvorlich, Jamie Macnab of Macnab and Robert Gibbons Esq of Lawers Estate, provide our visitors with the opportunity to rub shoulders with descendants of legendary characters documented throughout centuries of Scottish history and current family members hence the title “Highland Gathering”.<\/p>\n
If you visit the Clan tents on our Games field, you will always find colourful characters from each of the Clans, only too willing to provide an insight into the history of the area and the Clans who inhabited the local lands.<\/p>\n
